I enjoy listening to music and learning music....I enjoy the feeling of being engulfed and embraced by a melody...that feeling of hearing the music inside and out.
Design is so similar. At it's best, a well designed environment feels wonderful and it speaks to us. It makes a statement....of serenity, energy, escape, safety, drama, and comfort.
The music of design is about the balance, harmony and rhythm of a composition. The music of design is the physical, visual realization of songs we love to sing.

Everything Stu did is just fantastic. His workmanship is just incredible. Dan and I were marveling at the fact that you were able to listen to us, and come up with ideas that so perfectly reflect our taste. We love all of it! And, we're so excited with how beautifully the living room and dining room come together. It really is a reflection of us.

Dear Jay,
We made settlement today on our new condo and we are scheduled to move in next Tuesday. The place looks just spectacular and it's not quite finished. The design is striking but also very functional. We get lots of compliments. Everybody says Wow!
The process of starting with an idea developing a plan, picking out materials and watching it being built was like watching a dream become reality. It was both fun and a learning experience. We could have never done this without you and your team. You and Peg were an absolute pleasure to work with. Helen and I can't wait for you and Peg to come for a visit.
Dear Phase II,
Just wanted to let you know that we had a lot of people over this weekend to check out the new house and everyone was completely blown away. They were all so impressed with the design and the craftsmanship. All they could say was "this house should be on HGTV" and "this kitchen is right out of a magazine." They are absolutely right! The house is really amazing and we, Jen and I, are very grateful for all of your hard work!!!

Thank you so much for the beautiful plant for our fabulous new home. We are so thrilled with the results, and appreciate your talent, patience and vision that brought us to this point. What an amazing transformation! I'm glad we have "before" pictures or it would be impossible to believe the transformation that has taken place here. Jay, you are welcome to stop over any time - there will always be a reserved "seat" for you next to the kitchen.
Melissa, shopping with you has been so much fun. How did you make Jimmy and I think the choices were all ours? Your guidance is evident - especially in the bold use of color which we would never have had the nerve to do on our own. We love the results of our collaboration and look forward to your input when we get to "Phase II" of the project.
